To join in on this creative adventure, we do ask that you come equipped with some basic sewing skills, like knowing how to use and thread a sewing machine. If you think a little practice would help you shine, feel free to sign up for Sewing School Basics!

We’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be working with the fabulous Michael Miller Fabric to create some amazing blocks.

• TFH sewing fabric packet featuring curated pre-cut Michael Miller Fabric for your project, as well as thread; pins; snips 
• Plus, you'll learn fascinating information about the history of the block patterns we're creating and insights into a local quilting legend whose quilts are showcased in the Smithsonian and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Let’s get stitching!
• In our final class, get ready for the grand finale! Once we wrap up our stitching on these gorgeous blocks, our fourth session is all about piecing them together to craft a fabulous runner. And here’s the exciting part — we’ll even host a special ceremony to celebrate the completion of our project!

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

Personal sewing machine (in-class machines available for a modest rental price);

Skills learned: How to sew three kinds of quilt blocks (Individual Blocks are 15 in. x 15 in.).

• The 9-patch is a perfect block to learn to sew for a beginning quilter.
• The Triangle block allows for accurate sewing of fabric to points and is an easy and fun way to incorporate different prints and colors. 
• The Evening Star pattern allows you to sew and combine squares and triangles into your block.
• In the Final Class each student will sew their blocks together to create a Table Runner (15 in. x 45 in. in total)

Our SPECIAL INTRODUCTION Bundle fee for all four sessions is $360, which includes a curated precut Michael Miller fabric and supplies packet  for all sessions($60 Value)

Drop in and sew (1) Block: $110 per session including supplies for block of that day (a $20 value). No single classes for final day.
