Get the Perfect Fit Without Paying for Alterations

 

What You’ll Learn:

  • How to measure and mark hems correctly
  • Proper pinning techniques
  • How to hem:
    • Dress pants
    • Skirts/dresses
    • Jeans (basic hem)
    • Sleeves (shortening)

What to Bring:

  • 1–2 garments (pants, skirt, dress, or shirt sleeves)
  • Must be clean and ready to alter




     

Accomplishment:

Students will complete at least one hemmed garment and have a better understanding on  how to hem.
