Fix It, Don’t Toss It — Learn to Repair Your Clothes

Learn essential clothing repair skills that will save you money and extend the life of your wardrobe.

This beginner-friendly class focuses on simple, everyday fixes you can do by hand or machine.

What You’ll Learn:

  • How to hand sew a button (2-hole & 4-hole)

  • Fix small tears and holes

  • Basic seam repair (restitching seams)

  • Intro to taking in a T-shirt (basic adjustment)

What to Bring:

  • Up to 2 garments in need of repair

  • Optional: 1–2 old T-shirts for practice

 

Accomplishment:

Students will leave with multiple repair skills they can immediately use at home.
