Join us for a fun three-day Fashion Designer Mini Camp where students will explore the exciting world of fashion design, styling, and hand sewing!
Stitch a cool, modern wardrobe for your 18" doll featuring hand sewing kits from Sew It! Workshop. Choose the Slouchy Overalls and Short Sleeve T or the Wide Leg, high waist Jeans and Cozy Sweatshirt. Learn how to make a drawstring, sew a patch, and even some fun 3-D embroidery on the sweatshirt. All materials and tools provided ~ just bring your awesome self!

Day 1 Fashion Design & Draping
- Students will learn the basics of fashion design by draping fabric on a 1/2 size dress form (mannequin). They will experiment with shapes, layers, and styling techniques to create their own unique fashion look.

Day 2: Fashion Photoshoot
- Students will complete their 1/2 size mannequin designs and participate in a special fashion photoshoot. Each designer will have their creation photographed and will receive a printed keepsake photo of their design to take home.
Perfect for beginners and returning students alike.

Day 3: Design for an 18" Doll

Students will become fashion designers for their favorite 18" dolls such as American Girl®, Journey Girl®, and similar dolls. Using a complete hand-sewing kit, students will hand sew a fashionable outfit consisting of:
- Drawstring Overalls
- Coordinating Top

No sewing experience is necessary. Students will learn basic hand-sewing techniques while creating a wearable outfit for their doll.
