This program is specifically designed to teach High School age teenagers  to 21 year olds how to sew!

What you'll learn:       

  • Learn how to operate a sewing machine.
  • How to use sewing tools and notions, to create fashionable apparel & accessories
  • Learn various sewing techniques to give their project a professional finish.
  • Get a basic understanding of working with a pattern. Projects are created using commercial patterns as well as PDF patterns.
  • Showcase your sewn creations at our Annual Fashion to Runway show in May 2024!
Level 1: Foundational Sewing
Number of Sewing Projects: 10		 Level 2:  Sewing with Stretch
Number of Sewing Projects: 11 & more!

Students need:

  1. If your student has a sewing machine, they are encouraged to bring it to class. A sewing machine for studio use is available for class.
  2. Sewists will be required to purchase materials for the projects a supply list will be provided. 
  3. Students will also have the option to purchase TFH fabric & supplies for their projects.

Ongoing School year program: August - May with a yearly tuition of $1,350.00

(*Monthly tuition $150.00)

Ages Teens (High School and Up)

$150.00  monthly tuition per student

$35.00  yearly registration Fee - non-refundable

$40.00  curriculum workbook with access to patterns

$40.00 Sewing Kit (includes material for the first (3) projects)

*Monthly tuition - 30 Day notice required if dropping please see Sewing Program Policies 

 

Monthly Class Cost:  $150 monthly Tuition/1 hour class
(If you start within the month, the monthly tuition is prorated)

Startup Cost:  Registration fee $35, Workbook & access to patterns $40, and Sewing Kit $40
(Our sewing kit includes fabric for the first 2 projects: bookmark & DIY tote bag)

There will be no refunds for cancellations or missed classes.
